A Legacy Since 1972

For over fifty years, this local mill, five miles west of Hutchinson, has had a strong presence in the local agricultural community.

It was first founded in 1972 by three gentlemen that called the business MTN, standing for Miller, Troyer and Nisly in a shed on Miller’s farm. In two years, they built on a site in Pleasantview, changing the name to Pur-Feeds.‍

Farm storage silos and a grain dryer with a tall metal structure, set against a cloudy sky.

‍In 1998, Sam Miller bought the mill and changed it to Custom Mills with Randall and Deb Ehling purchasing it in 2012.

In April of 2026, Aaron and Sarah Fall took ownership under it’s current name: Custom Mills Feed Company.

With most commodities sourced and processed right here in Central Kansas, we are committed to continuing our support for the businesses, ranchers, and hobby farmers we are honored to have as customers.

Enjoy a look back at the building the of current facility to help you understand the rich history Custom Mills Feed Company has in the community.
